Things Are Looking Up!

I just had to write a quick thank you to those of you who have called, text, emailed, commented, tweeted, messaged, etc. I can't believe how blessed I am to have such great friends and family around who lift me up and support me when I am down. It was so nice to hear that I am definitely not alone in feeling like this sometimes. We all struggle from time to time and we need to continue to be there for each other when things get tough! So, thank you for that!!

I'm trying my best to climb out of this little hole I'm in. I've been a little bit better at cleaning the last few days and I've even cooked dinner a couple times, which I am sure my husband appreciates. It's been hard for me to feel motivated but I'm trying!

A few things have happened that have cheered me up (besides you guys of course)! I FINALLY bought an entryway table! I used some of my very own Scentsy paycheck to purchase it, Michael put it together, and I decorated it! I am LOVING it!!

I'm also planning on getting out and having fun tomorrow at a food truck festival! I've never been to one but my bloggy friend, Lin from Linny's Vault, so kindly gave us four tickets! I'm sure it will be so good for us to get out and do something new and exciting. Plus, we love to eat! ;) Thank you so much, Lin!

Another thing I'm excited about- I won a giveaway! Becky at From Mrs. to Mama gave away $50.00 to A Cut Above and I won! I haven't been entering that many giveaways lately because (let's face it), a ton of people enter and your odds aren't great but I was lucky enough to actually win one! Sweet!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. Most of you will be enjoying beautiful fall weather in your cute fall outfits. I, on the other hand, am in Southern California so we are still having temps around 80 degrees! Oh well, at least it's not in the hundreds anymore. We did have a couple days where we got to pretend it was cool enough for fall clothing.

Happy Friday!!

love, love, LOVE your outfit!! That sweater is the CUTEST!
Adorable entry table :)
And the food truck festival thing sounds so fun! I want to go to one of those someday!
So glad things are looking up. We all find ourselves in these ruts and it's the WORST! I know when I'm in them, I feel like we're never going to get out of 'em. So it makes me SO happy that it's getting better for you!

I love the colors of that sweater! The food truck festival sounds quite interesting ;) Glad you are in better spirits, and now I'm going to go read why you were down.

Cute outfit! The table looks great! I got some dark gray leggins to wear with a black sweater and I'm debating keeping them. Lucky you won a giveaway!

You're definitely welcome! I hope you guys had a fabulous time. We ended up skipping it because we went to the shooting range & weren't back in time :/ Good thing they have them every couple of months.

You're outfit is so cute! I'm loving the fact I can wear a sweater & not sweat within minutes or have to blast the a/c. I'll take a high 70 over temps in the 100.

Oh girl, so sorry that you weren't doing so great but I'm happy to hear you are doing better!

your entryway looks lovely and I love decorating - definitely missing having my own place.

I also am loving your outfit - you look so pretty!

Hi there!

I got your email and tried to respond, but for whatever reason it failed to deliver. So I figured I'd reply back here. Of course you can add your scentsy button. Just use the same code and you should be good to go. All ads will go live Nov. 1st. Also, I should be sending you a newsletter sometime in the next few days with all the upcoming events on my blog.

Btw, if you know people who want to ad swap send them my way, I still have a few more slots available for Nov/Dec.
