Never Ever Ever #15

Thank you so much for linking up with us today!! We couldn't keep this linkup going without you!!

1. The Never Ever Ever link up will be posted EVERY Tuesday at Midnight CST. Tell us about the things you'd "never ever ever" say or do!
2. Please put our button on your post for the link up.
3. Please follow your hosts. We won't make it mandatory, but we appreciate the love.
4. If you tweet about your post, feel free to tag NeelyStephanie, and me- and use the hashtag #nevereverever

Never Ever Ever...
  • Can I get enough fruits and veggies. I'm seriously sitting here eating cherry tomatoes with ranch right now. Yum! California has the best produce :).
  • Will I be able to go very long blogging consistently. I get burned out and I hate feeling like I have to blog just to have a certain number of posts per week. I'm going to blog when I want to blog and if that's just once a week then OH WELL. Life goes on.
  • Will blogging be like it used to be. I miss the old days where we all had just a few blogs we read because we liked the blogger, not because of giveaways or to get followers.
  • Can I not get excited when I get a package in the mail.
  • Do I get tired getting Scentsy in the mail. I just got all the new catalogs and scents and I'm so excited about sharing them! Let me know if you want a catalog or if you want to order! I mean, look at these adorable warmers!!

Fun Times With Family & Friends

This is the first time I've had time to blog or even get on my laptop since Wednesday! I was out of town spending every moment with family and friends! Since there was SO much happening this week, here's a bullet point list of what I was up to...

Wednesday
  • Drove out to Orange County for the week because Michael's sisters family was visiting from Texas and I had friends here for their baby showers.
  • Girls night with Michaels mom, his sister, and my two SIL's (who are both pregnant!)
  • We went to The Melting Pot (which was delicious and I've wanted to go for so long)!
  • Then we went to get massages!

Thursday
  • Beach day

  • Scentsy party
Friday
  • Train ride/Park/Zoo day

Saturday

  • Breakfast with friends (Alyse, Candace, Sheri, me, Kelli- Alyse and Sheri are pregnant)- I hung out with lots of preggo ladies this weekend!

I totally burned out after this and didn't take pictures the rest of the weekend. Need to update later with more!
  • Nieces birthday party
  • Double baby shower (Alyse and Sheri's)
  • Makeshift family photos
  • Watched The Lucky One with my parents
Sunday
  • Drove home in the morning and then went to church
  • Playing catch up with emails, blogging, laundry, cleaning!
And can I just say how grateful I am to be blessed with so many awesome people in my life?! I am also feeling so glad that I live in such a beautiful area that makes it easy to have fun in this sunny weather! I love Southern California. Speaking of Southern California...have you checked out the new blog?!

Building Forts and Scentsy Deals!!

You guys! I am so bad at blogging consistently. I have all these posts written...in my head. It's just more difficult to take the time to sit and type them up. I'm trying!! Maybe I need to figure out a way to do it while Emily is awake and playing. I don't usually get on the computer while Emily is around because she pulls on the chords, climbs on my lap, starts doing her own blog post like this "docoslcodowodof ijsskfbfod" etc. Haha. So blogging with her is hard, as you can imagine!

We spent some time with my sister before she left on her mission on Monday. Here is an old school fort we made at my parents house last week. Emily loved it!

A sweet picture of Emily clinging on to her grandma :).

It's crazy to think how Emily will be so different next time she see's Kristin. Let's see..what else is going on with us lately? Michael is working almost every day lately with all of his overtime. He works 12 hour shifts at night. Plus about an hour commute, one way. It is hard to spend a lot of time apart but I am grateful he is such a hard worker!

We are really looking forward to our tax returns! We won't be doing anything exciting with it like traveling but we will be able to pay stuff off- which is exciting for us! :)

I have 2-3 Scentsy parties in the next couple of weeks because it's the last month of the fall/winter products. Almost everything is 10% off before they get discontinued and the spring/summer products come out next month! People are stocking up!

Emily loves smelling the bars :)! This one is one we all love called Amalfi Coast! Try it!

I blame it on the toddler...

If you're wondering where I've been and why I haven't been blogging much lately, let me show you why...(I apologize to those of you who have already seen these pictures on Instagram)...

Check this kid out. Emily is a full on toddler now. Nothing can stop her from climbing into/onto/over things and we are constantly needing to baby proof differently to keep up with her!

This is the first time I got Emily's hair up on a rubber band...it was adorable and short lived.

Emily is such a little mini me. She loves to try to copy things I do like brush hair, teeth, stir things in pots, wrap a scarf (or in her case one of Michael's shirts) around her neck, copy facial expressions, etc. It's so fun to watch her learn! The picture below is her wearing my socks :).

I do occasionally go out without E and have some "me time". I recently was able to go shopping with a friend and it was really fun!

Emily's first pigtails...super cute..and again, short lived! Also, she loves sharing food with Jexi...

I got my hair cut a couple inches. It needed it!! Excuse my naked/tired face...it seems to be this way a lot these days! I blame this on the toddler ;).

I got my Valentine's themed Scentsy warmer out and I just love it!! Warming Apple Press as well!

Once again, this crazy toddler is a climber!

Emily loves her new couch and her dolls!

She dragged this blanket over and covered herself and her dolls!

Michael took this picture of Em and me both using our left hands. I'm left handed and we are wondering if Emily will be too!

Alrighty, well I'm sure that was more than enough pictures for ya'll! So, if I'm not blogging as frequently as I used to, you know why! This little girl is (and always has been) very hands-on and active! I could spend her naps (which are getting fewer and farther in between) and bedtime blogging but, well, I don't really want to, lol. I don't really feel like I have much to talk about anyways.

We'll see if I get more energy, time, inspiration, and motivation to blog in the future. Until then, I hope you stick with me! If you're on twitter or instagram you can find me on there way more than on here. @ShelleyBells07.

I hope you all are having a great beginning to your new year!

January Scentsy Deals!

This month with Scentsy is a pretty exciting one! We are starting off the brand new year with Bring Back My Bar! Once a year some discontinued bars are voted for and those that win get to come back for just this one month. I have to say, I am really loving the idea of Root Beer Float! Check out the bars! I love that the bars only cost $5.00. It's so much cheaper than a candle and lasts longer, people!!

Another thing that's special this month is that if you host a party you can get DOUBLE the host rewards half priced items! That means if your party qualifies with sales of $150 or more, you get two half priced items instead of one. Awesome! Let me know if you want to host one! It can be online or if you live in the area we can do a house party!

I always have the warmer of the month in my sidebar, but just in case you haven't seen it...this months WOTM is called Be Mine. It's so pretty! I don't know about you but I love decorating for holidays and this one if perfect for Valentine's Day next month. WOTM's are always 10% off in their month so get it now!

The scent of the month in January is Happy Go Lucky. It's 10% off in January as well!

Here's the description of the scent...

"Happy Go Lucky captures the exhilaration of a new romance with luscious red berries, silky orchid, and Japanese plum floating on a cloud of amber vanilla."

Scentsy Deals!!

As an Independent Scentsy Consultant, I have the opportunity to share with you these awesome products!!

Every month, in my sidebar, I have a picture of the warmer of the month. The WOTM is always 10% off, as well as the scent of the month. This months WOTM is Holiday Lights. Isn't it adorable, and perfect for Christmas?! It's a full size warmer and with the 10% off discount in November, it is $31.50!

The scent of the month is Peppermint Dreams. It smells like a peppermint patty!
The scent of the month is 10% off as well!
These bars last about 70 hrs (as opposed to a candle which lasts about 12) and even without the discount they are only $5.00 each!

Besides the SOTM and WOTM, there are also other deals going on which are great for the holidays!

Buddies (stuffed animals with zippers in the bag for the scent paks) are buy one get one free! That's two full sized buddies and two scent paks for just $25.00!!

There is ANOTHER buy one get one free deal with Scentsy is the fragrance foam! That is two delicious smelling foam soaps for just $6.00!

Things Are Looking Up!

I just had to write a quick thank you to those of you who have called, text, emailed, commented, tweeted, messaged, etc. I can't believe how blessed I am to have such great friends and family around who lift me up and support me when I am down. It was so nice to hear that I am definitely not alone in feeling like this sometimes. We all struggle from time to time and we need to continue to be there for each other when things get tough! So, thank you for that!!

I'm trying my best to climb out of this little hole I'm in. I've been a little bit better at cleaning the last few days and I've even cooked dinner a couple times, which I am sure my husband appreciates. It's been hard for me to feel motivated but I'm trying!

A few things have happened that have cheered me up (besides you guys of course)! I FINALLY bought an entryway table! I used some of my very own Scentsy paycheck to purchase it, Michael put it together, and I decorated it! I am LOVING it!!

I'm also planning on getting out and having fun tomorrow at a food truck festival! I've never been to one but my bloggy friend, Lin from Linny's Vault, so kindly gave us four tickets! I'm sure it will be so good for us to get out and do something new and exciting. Plus, we love to eat! ;) Thank you so much, Lin!

Another thing I'm excited about- I won a giveaway! Becky at From Mrs. to Mama gave away $50.00 to A Cut Above and I won! I haven't been entering that many giveaways lately because (let's face it), a ton of people enter and your odds aren't great but I was lucky enough to actually win one! Sweet!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. Most of you will be enjoying beautiful fall weather in your cute fall outfits. I, on the other hand, am in Southern California so we are still having temps around 80 degrees! Oh well, at least it's not in the hundreds anymore. We did have a couple days where we got to pretend it was cool enough for fall clothing.

Happy Friday!!

Happy October!!

Happy October!!

{Thank you for the adorable Halloween outfit, Grandma! We love you!}

It's hard to believe it's already October, especially since it's still above 90 degrees here. (Last night our AC and power turned off and it got up to 82 degrees in our house.)

I love October! It's time to bust out the fall/Halloween decorations! Who am I kidding? I already had my pumpkin warmer out!

On Saturday we had Emily's first birthday party. It was a great turnout! We had almost 30 people over. We enjoyed spending time together, celebrating our baby girl!

I had my SIL Jocelyn and my mom take some pictures and I've been editing them so I'm hoping to start posting those soon. There are some really great pictures!! Thank you, Mom and Jocelyn!!

Happy October, everyone!

Weekend Recap

This weekend was pretty fun! I took Emily out to lunch and shopping with my mom and grandma on Friday. We went to Toys R Us and my mom bought Emily her first doll.
Isn't this just sooo precious?!

Thank you, mom!

I also bought Emily some really cute brown fuzzy boots for colder weather. She'll be walking before I know it. She has already taken a few steps here and there.

On Friday before we headed home, we went to a friends house for her kids combined birthday party. I love giving kids gifts. They have the BEST reactions! Melts my heart!

Saturday we just hung around the house. I was supposed to go to a Pampered Chef party at my neighbors house but since Michaels been working every night, he sleeps all day and I had to miss it. It's been rough having him gone/sleeping so much but we try to stay busy most days.

One thing that keeps me busy is selling Scentsy. I love it! It's makes my job easy when the products are so cute and smell DELICIOUS. I'm obsessed with my pumpkin warmer and sugar cookie scent!

Have any questions about what Scentsy is or how it works? Feel free to ask me!

I bought a couple of movies this weekend for Emily on Amazon. I'm trying to get some movies that she will like as she gets older and that won't make me want to put my head through a wall.

On Sunday we went to church and that's pretty much it!

Our Weekend Recap

This past weekend I had another Scentsy party and spent a lot of time out in Orange County with family and friends. The party went well (thank you to those who came and my parents for letting me host at their house) and I got promoted after only selling for less than month!! I am so excited about that and now I'm only about $107.00 away from my next goal so if you want to help me get there and also buy some great products, let me know!!

Thursday night, we spent the night at Michaels parents house. My BIL, SIL, and niece just moved here from Utah so we are so excited to be able to hang out with them more. Emily gets to see her cousin a lot more now!!

Here is their Nana in total baby-lovin cloud nine.

Cousins having fun playing next to each other.

I was able to spend some time with my friend Jenna and her toddler (not a baby anymore!), Grayson. We went to get shaved ice (see the pictures) with the kiddos. I'm glad we got to hang out, Jenna!

We came home Saturday because I wasn't feeling well and had to miss out on a baby shower we were planning to go to. Also, Emily doesn't sleep well when we aren't at home so we were both exhausted. My brother Steven came over for lunch and played with Emily for a while.

On Sunday, Emily and I went to church and then just kind of hung out around the house the rest of the day!

That was our weekend!

As Emily's birthday (the 25th) is rapidly approaching, I'm looking at my baby and wondering where the time has gone. She is already so big and changes every day. She just started clapping, sort of walking, and she does this cute nod. She also repeats mama and dada!
