Target Tuesday: Need Opinions on Maternity Stuff!

Once again, I'm linking up with Tara over at Fabulous But Evil for Target Tuesday! It seems like Tuesdays always come so quickly. I love Tuesdays because that marks another week accomplished of pregnancy! Today I am 15 weeks and the baby is approximately the size of a softball! And yes...I'm starting to show! It especially was noticeable on Sunday when I wore a dress for church. I think other people just think I'm bloated or getting fat or something, but it's all baby! In fact, I lost weight and I still have a few pounds to gain back to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. Anyways! Target Tuesday time!

Merona® Maternity Scoop-Neck Knit Dress - Green Clover

I actually just bought this dress online for my brother in laws wedding next month. I'm one of the bridesmaids and this is one of the dresses we got to choose from. Cute and affordable, win win! Now I just need to find some cream colored heels and cardigan!

Oh and yes, I got it in maternity. I figured at this rate, next month I will need it!

Canon EOS Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55IS Lens

I've wanted a nice camera for a while but alas, no can do at the moment!

BeBand Maternity Band - White

Has anyone tried these? I heard they work wonders, but I'm afraid to waste my money if they are uncomfortable. Maybe I should look into maternity pants? Opinions?

Snoogle Mini Compact Side Sleeper Pillow - Sage Dot

I'm not sure I would like this either...but the ladies in the pictures definitely look comfy!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Super cute dress! And I used one of those belly bands when I was pregnant. A different brand, but it worked great for that in-between stage when you're too big for your normal pants, but not quite ready for maternity pants/shorts. I'd definitely recommend it! :)

I am not pregnant, nor do I plan on becoming so any time soon, but I'd give anything for that cuddle pillow.

OK, so I've never been pregnant...however, both of my sisters have been and plenty of friends, so I have an input!

Dress...ADORABLE!

Camera...When you can, DO IT! You won't regret having a Canon Rebel. Period!

BeBand....Absolute MUST. Save a fortune on Maternity pants! ALL Of my friends LOVED them! and it's fun because if it shows, it looks like you have a cami underneath your shirt. Layers are SO in ;)

Snoogle...Another MUST. My little sister just got one and I will quote her, "Welcome back sleep!" She is 22 weeks and has been sleeping horribly until she got it. On top of that, It makes for MUCH easier breast feeding when baby comes along.

So, that's the non-pregnant woman's take. LOL! Take it for what you will!

P.S. Have you looked into babycenter.com My sister swears by it. You can find reviews, forums and all sorts of stuff about baby things!

I haven't tried that pillow personally, but I've always wanted one. Body pillow's are KEY to good night's sleep. I would totally get it. A nice camera, when you can afford it, is a must (at least I think so), but you gotta read the manual, look at online tutorials and just know how to use it. And the BeBand is AMAZING. Seriously. Mine were just called the Bella Band or something and I got it at Motherhood Maternity. I used it almost the entire time I needed it for both of my pregnancies. And my friend used mine while she was prego too. I was able to wear my regular jeans my ENTIRE pregnancy... and my skirts and stuff... because of the BellaBand. Motherhood Maternity also has little spaghetti strap shirts or tanks made of the same material as the Bella Band and it ALWAYS stays the same size. In fact, I STILL wear the tanks under my shirts. So, for me, the tanks and the Bella Band were essentials to my pregnancy wardrobe. And the pillow made life oh so nice! K, I'm done. Hope I helped!

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention... the Bella Bands are SUPER comfortable. They are basically made of the same material as the elastic on maternity pants. I couldn't find a great pair of maternity pants because the ones that fit in the legs were all too short. So my mat pants are flooders.... SUPER cute, haha!

Oh I think that dress will be just perfect for you for the wedding! I actually just bought a cream colored cardigan from the Gap last week. runs $54.50 but I'm sure there is some sort of magical deal on it in a real store.
I've heard the maternity bands work well, but I wouldn't know. I've also heard Gap makes amazing maternity jeans and they are either 59.50 or 69.50 maybe less and fit like their regular jeans ((which are fantastic!))

Can't wait to see bump pics! so exciting!! So many people are having babies.

I have never bought maternity pants (they are too darn expensive!!) and used the bella band through both pregnancies. Maternity pants are probably more comfortable, but the bella band works well if you want to have more variety and save money.

I also think a good camera is a must have. We love our Nikon. You would never regret it.

The belly band is a GOOD investment!! You will get months of wear out of your regular pants using that thing!!

I just used a plain, long body pillow. It worked great. I hear those curvy ones are good too.

One of my good friends is preggers and she says the Snoogle is the best thing ever created.

I'm selling my canon rebel xs. I just decided to yesterday, actually. Time to move on to one that will cost me TWO LEGS instead of just the one. ;) I'll link you to the info when I post it for sale, if you're interested. Also, go on motherhoodmaternity.com. They always have sales on super cute maternity clothes. I just got a big package in the mail for barely anything at all!
