After their last movie together, New York Minute, they focused more on their fashion industry. They had a line with WalMart and are now working on more high end work in New York. Ashley is more focused on their fashion, while Mary-Kate (who suffered from anorexia a few years back and is rumored to have been involved with Heath Ledger before he passed away) is actually working on wrapping up a movie called Beastly. I think the movie looks pretty good! Here is a trailor for you!

I love Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. I wanted to be them when I was younger and I still watch all their movies. I didnt even know MK was going to be in a new movie. Exciting :)

OoOoH I that new movie does look interesting! I hadn't seen any previews for it yet. I do love MK&A though-- especially in "It Takes Two" :) One of my all-time fav. childhood movies.
I saw a bit of them in Full House when I was small, but don't know much really even in that. Do you think their careers have been shaped by that, starting off (and sort of staying) as a pair? I wonder how their image (of themselves and in the public) will/won't change as they grow more and more distinct in their careers.
I was interested to read this, and see how careers in the acting world develop over time.

they were cute. I was never a huge fan, but they were cute. Do you have their book influences? I was wondering about getting it, but it's a bit pricy.
I liked your story about where the girls are. I'm glad to see they're doing some things on their own now too. The movie looks great! Now I'm thinking that maybe I should have chosen that prompt, since it looks like you had fun looking the girls up. :o)
