Weekend Recap:

On Friday I got my ring cleaned and it looks so perty!! Then I went to dinner with Michael to Chili's. That was pretty much it for Friday night. I'm always so tired on Friday nights! It was just nice to go out to dinner with him and spend some time at home.

On Saturday morning we went to look at an apartment about a half hour away from where we live now. We have some friends that live there and they recommended them to us. So we went to check them out and it just so happens that they were having a really great deal that weekend. We decided to go for it. It's a little smaller than the one we have now, but it is closer to my train station and you can't beat the price anywhere in Orange County I'm sure. We will have to get storage unit because of the space issue...and we won't have our own laundry unit...but oh well! You do what you have to, I guess!

One thing though...when we were signing the papers I saw that there was no dogs allowed. Only cats. I cried. Not like the ugly cry but there were definitely tears and a lump in the throat. Michael told me we will get one anyway. The guy who was showing us the apartment said there are tons of loopholes and if we get a doctors note stating that I HAVE to have a companion dog for a physical OR a mental reason, then I can probably have one! So now I need to find a therapist who will agree that I need a companion because of my loneliness with Michaels schedule and anxiety issues. Sounds good, right?.... It has to work! I am set on getting a dog even if I have to make myself look stupid in the process.

We spent the majority if Saturday de-cluttering our closet. We managed to get rid of a bunch of stuff but somehow we still have way too much.

Michael BBQ'd some shish kabobs Saturday night and we had the missionaries over for dinner.

He drew me a bubble bath. It was heavenly.

We went over to Kristen and Daniels place to hang out for a while. We are sad to be moving farther from them because right now they live around the corner!

Sunday we went to church and had to give them the bad news about us moving in the beginning of May.

Then we spent the rest of the day napping and went over to my in laws house for dinner.

It was a stressful yet productive weekend. I'm so so so glad that this week I am only working 4 days because the wedding is this Friday!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!!

Hopefully they'll make an exception, maybe a heftier pet deposit?! :/

If anything, to avoid paying more, I'd wait until another house came around to get that dog! Are you signing a one-year lease?

I forget that you are a CA girl too. Glad you found something, even if it means saying goodbye to your ward.

You look great in red! I love it when blonds can pull of that color, it makes for a stunning combination. Sadly, I am not one of those blonds...

Sounds like you had a pretty good weekend! Who was this looser who didn't want to take you to prom? That's mean!!

Good luck on the apartment hunting. That is a wonderful, smiling picture of you in the car. Wow...you should be a tooth model! My nephew just got his teeth straightened and we keep telling him that!
