How Much Can One Heart Take?

I'm being featured today over at A Girl In Pearls!

I'm so excited I have almost 50 followers now.

I can't believe you all actually want to read what I have to say!

But thank you and please stay! ;-)

That makes today a little less crappy.

Because you know what?

We aren't getting the house.

Yep. I said it. Not going to happen.

Why?

Because the bank sucks. They are forclosing it instead of selling to us.

Why?

Nobody knows. It doesn't make any sense.

Where will we live after this month?

No idea.

We will most likely find another, cheaper apartment for the time being.

Time to say goodbye to this adorable, perfect little house that should have been ours.

Moving on to smaller and less exciting things.

I try to remind myself (along with others reminding me) that it must not have been meant to be. God must see the big picture and for some reason He has another plan for us. Now we just need to try to figure out what He wants us to do from here on out.

I'm listening. But I don't hear any answers yet.

I know its hard to see the bright side, but from experience with losing a house my hubs and I had thought we were going to get I know it gets better. We ended up waiting and found an even better house!

I know how stressful the whole buying a house thing is anyways, so good luck and you will find the perfect one for you!

Oh sweetie I am so sorry. There is a much better house God has planned for you.. Ummm you know if the foreclose it will often get auctioned off for much cheaper then what they are sking for it.. and how about walking the property and claiming it as yours in the name of Jesus.. the bible does say every where the sole of our feet touch we can claim for the kingdom

It just wasn't meant to happen. There's probably a house out there waiting for the right moment to show itself to you. :) Hang in there. Keep your head up.

Lately, banks have been sucking anyway. Are you working with a good realtor at least?

It is hard to wait for things. Especially when we can't see the prize. It will happen.

Popped in from SITS to say hi! What a shame! But things happen for a reason. There must be a better house for you in the future!

I found your blog from Jen's, nice to meet you!

The best advice I can give you as someone of similar age and situation is to wait and not rush any house buying opportunities. My DH and I bought out of frustration because we didn't think we'd ever find anything after looking for 6 months and got a town house about 4 months before the housing market crashed and now we're stuck with it until the market recovers :)

everything happens for a reason!
