This weekend was definitely not crazy like many of yours were! I don't really care about St. Patrick's Day and I don't drink (us crazy Mormon's lol) so it was another low key weekend with friends and family.
On Friday we met up with some old friends, Kristen and Daniel, from out of town and played at the park with our kids.
Michael had to go to work so Emily and I just hung out in Orange County for the night with my parents. I tried some strange oriental food (I can't even remember what it was) that they brought home for dinner. But I tried something new and that's a big deal! I like to stick with what I know.
Saturday was basically a lounge around and then do some grocery shopping kind of day.
Sunday, I dressed Emily up in her pretty new greenish (okay, more like turquoise) dress and her shamrock hair clip and we headed to church.
After church we just hung out at home and relaxed! Emily never takes naps on Sunday due to the time our church is at but that usually means she will go to bed a little earlier at least. Sundays are hard! I don't know how I'm going to have another baby ever. I'm already worn out with just this one! Especially since Michael works so much. I'm very excited he has like a week and a half off this month so hopefully we get to go do some fun things as a family!

I don't drink either (us crazy Baptists!) haha! My hubs has a beer maybe twice a year. I'd much rather have fun with my family!
I think I already said but your little one is seriously adorable!!! Little girls are so much fun! Sounds like my kind of weekend...laid back yet fun!! We dont do the whole St. Patricks day thing either.
Her hair is getting so long! Love it! She is so precious on the swing.
Such a cutie! Our weekend was pretty plain and fun! I loved it! We have the 9 o'clock block at church, and we're always there by 10, no earlier, A sleeps in till at least 9:30 & I'd much rather her be happy for nursery than a screaming tired mess :)
We didn't drink either. And I really don't understand the appeal of getting drunk on a holiday. Laid back days are always the best. Em is getting so big! I love the shamrock in her hair. Too cute.
I'm not big on St. Patrick's Day, either! It's just another day for me. I'll wear green, but that's about it, just because I don't want any weirdos out there to think they can just run up and pinch me. Hehehe! :)
Looks like you had a nice, low-key weekend! :)
Haha don't worry, I think I drank enough for all the Mormons you know.
She looks so cute in that turquoise dress!
Looks like an awesome weekend!!! :) I hope y'all have a happy week, too!! XO!!
I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day. I'm not Irish, so I don't see the point.
Ha ha! I didn't even wear green and neither did Mia... mommy fail? And we were in Vegas of all places for the holiday! Some drunk dude threatened to pinch me, while my hubs was standing right there with my baby! I would have kicked him in the shin if he did :)
omg she is too cute!! lovely post! if you get a sec, i would love to hear what you think of my new post!

Looks like a fun weekend, even without the craziness. ;-)
Looks like you guys had a fun weekend! And your little girl is seriously adorable! I love finding other LDS bloggers. Now following! :)
xoxo Jamie
My St. Patrick's Day was super low key as well. I watched the Chicago River dyeing from my balcony, but that's it:)
I love Emily's dress! What a doll!
You're so pretty, girl.
I didn't know you were Mormon. My husband goes from a long line of Mormons :)
Sounds like a great low-key weekend! That's about how mine was :)
Sometimes low-key weekends are the best!
And I am not big on trying new foods either. Every time I do I usually regret it haha.
Love her cute heart shirt!!
Those park pictures are great! Do you have a dslr?
What.A.Doll.
We spent our CRAZY weekend outside doing family things too. And I was still more tired then my bar hopping buddies lol
