Today is Michaels 26th birthday!
On Friday I took him out to a surprise birthday dinner at Claim Jumper. It's his favorite restaurant and he was so surprised to see so many people waiting there for us. Unfortunately, my pictures turned out terrible! The flash made everyone look super bright and I think I need to stop doing candid pictures. I will share a couple though, just so you get an idea of what it was like.
It was pretty funny when we showed up and his friend was wearing the same sweater as him.... :-)
All in all it turned out pretty good, I think! A lot of his friends couldn't make it, but it turned out to be the perfect number of people. Jason and Jocelyn (his brother and sister in law) drove in a day early so they got to come and that was really nice.
I'm so lucky to be married to such an amazing husband. He's so patient, loving, smart, and he works so hard to provide for us. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!

Aww how cute and sweet of you to have a little surprise birthday party set up for him! and that is the funnies thing that him and his friend were wearing the same shirt!
