My dad used to pay me to mow the lawn when I lived at home. A lot of people are surprised to hear that for some reason. Is it because everyone else here has someone else do their lawn? Or is it because I'm a little lady? I'll have you know that I actually enjoy mowing! It's kind of therapeutic.
My dad has this lawn mower that is light weight and easy to use. You just charge the battery, put the battery in the top of it, pull the tabs and push the button! It's so easy! No chords to pull, gasoline, or heavy pushing. The messiest part is unloading the bag of grass when you are done. No, I am not getting paid to write about this, either!
When we moved into our home we knew we needed to get a lawn mower. Then my parents generously gave us the same kind they have! We were so excited when we got it in the mail and put it together.
Here's Michael modeling for us...I know it's ridiculous to do this inside but it was dark outside and we had just finished putting it together!
I had never noticed this cute little pattern on the wheels before!
And that's the battery inside!
Do you mow your lawn?
Or do you pay someone else or have the hubby do it?
Or do you not have a lawn?

Cute lawn mower! (Never thought I'd say that one!) I used to love mowing the lawn but since I moved to Utah my siblings have taken over that job and now my husband and brother take care of my house! It's nice to have someone else do it.
WE all take turns mowing our lawn. The boys get the push mowers for close to the house nad hubby and I knock out the rest on the riding lawnmower. Cause nearly 4 acres is a bit much to push mow lol
I dont have a lawn...YAY! LOL! But If I did...I would mow it (if the hubs wasnt around) he likes to do that.
My sisters and I used to mow the lawn growing up!
So cute. When I was younger I think I may have mowed it a couple times... but it was always too heavy! (We didn't have the battery powered kind like your dad). Now, this is embarrassing, we pay someone to do it. We never really find the time!
I used to mow the lawn when I lived at home. We had a somewhat clunky mower that had a long cord, but it got the job done. I also thought it was a rather fun job.
I remember one day when I was in my room, I head my mom yelling, "Jocelyn! Jocelyn! Look outside!" I did, and she had mowed "J-O-C" in the lawn. She ran out of room for the rest of it. :)
Since my husband only works 13 days out of the month at the fire station, he mows. He said he'll feel like a total lazy ass paying someone else to do it.
I've never mowed before! Growing up my dad never let us because he had a neighbor lose his hand mowing when he was growing up, and I guess he never got over it. Which is good, because I think I'm scared of it. :)
No lawn! But when we did have one, my dad always mowed the lawn, I think he enjoyed doing it :D
When we lived in a house, I most definetely never ever mowed, I wouldn't even know how to use it! Timmy would mow the lawn, but in the Summer, it got over 115 degrees, and he would pay someone else to mow!
Hubby is 100% on lawn duty. I want NOTHING to do with it. :)
Your husband was spoiled because he never had to mow a lawn in his life! The closest any of my kids came to mowing the lawn was Jason. He got a bubble mower when he was 3, and he used to "mow" the lawn with his "mow lawner".
Hubby mows ours....but I do help even once in awhile :)
Oh, I used to HATE mowing the lawn. I have no brothers, so my dad made me and my sisters do it. No pay. That would have made it a little better. The only thing that got me through all those lawn mowing days was the thought that when I was married, it would be my husband's job and I'd never have to do it again! lol
