Our Busy Weekend!

Thanks so much for all your sweet comments on Friday. I was pretty...er...hormonal? Haha. And yeah. Lots of big stuff at once kinda made me go a little nutso but now it's all good! I was able to get things done this weekend which always helps since, you know, I am a bit of a control freak.

This weekend was so busy!! Michael actually had Saturday and Sunday off and we used it to our full advantage. We painted like mad men on both days. We usually like to go to church and stay at home to relax on Sundays but with Michael working from tonight to Sunday morning of next week without a day off and me still working too, this was our best chance to get some good amount of painting done on the house. Did I mention it's about a 30-45 minute drive from where we live now? Every time we go out we like to get as much done as we possibly can.

I'm proud to say I took "before" pictures and will be posting them this week. We got most of our bedroom and dining room painted and the living room is all done! It's starting to look so nice! I'm not totally sold on the colors in our bedroom but it's okay. There's no way we are going to repaint the whole thing! My legs feel like they are going to fall off whenever I move. I'm so sore!

Michaels brother Jason and his wife Jocelyn were in town over the weekend and it was really good to see them! We celebrated our future-sister-in-law Sarah's birthday on Thursday...check out this cake that J+J made!

Our friends Josh and Jenna just had their first baby on Sunday morning! We are so excited for them. Grayson is just so perfect with so much hair on his sweet little head!
