This has been quite a good day! It started off with helping a friend fill the receptionist spot here at my work (while I become the...filing clerk/accountant/whatever else they need me for), walked around downtown LA and found some fun jewelry shops, went to lunch in Mexico (not really but it looked and felt like it), and now I come back on the blog and my bloggy friend Megs made me this! I sort of half jokingly told her that she should do one of those celebrity hair style things for me and she actually did it! I'm still smiling. I love when you have an unexpected happy surprise, even if it's as silly as this. Thanks Megs!
Later tonight we are having my friend Kristen and her husband come over for dinner. They go to our church and we adore them! They are so cute. I would make dinner except...let's be honest here... Michael wears the oven mitts in the family. Plus...I don't get home until around 7:00 pm which is when they are coming over! Maybe they will let me take some pictures tonight. Maybe not... that might be weird to do with new friends. :-) We'll let them think we are normal before we try to do that! Haha. I'm so glad tomorrow is Saturday!! Sleeeeeep!
