Medieval Times and Such

Michael and I went to Medieval Times on our honeymoon in Orlando, Florida so this year I thought it would be fun to go again for our anniversary in December at the location in Buena Park. I bought tickets at a good price online, but we had to wait until they were valid to use them. We ended up going on Michaels first weekend off in sooo long!! We went on Saturday night and it was so much fun. We got to pick which knight to vote for and he ended up being the best one there was, winning the battles and charming the ladies :-). Here are the pictures we took from our honeymoon at MT...
So last time we had the blue knight, this time we decided to go with the red knight. We choose well. :-)

Here are the pictures from this time...
In other news...we are still looking for a house. I know. Annoying isn't it? Try being us. We spend so much of our free time either out looking at places, writing up offers, or looking up more houses online. I have pretty much decided a house is just not in the cards for us right now. I mean, COME ON. It's been over a year and a half now! I can't tell you how many houses we have gone to see. We have written at least 10-15 offers total. I broke down and started looking at condos again. I decided that if it is taking this long to get a house, maybe we just are not meant to get one. However, my husband does not seem to agree with this. He wants to keep looking in Corona for houses while I look in OC for a condo. Ugh. The bad thing is that with the HOA being about $300.00 a month, we can't afford anything other than a dumb two bedroom cheapo place. What's the point?? But we might do that. Sigh. I can't wait for this all to be over and for us to actually have a place, no matter what/where it is, get a doggy, and start a family. Michaels academy is still on hold so we have held off on the baby thing. I've got to be helping with the money for now. Which is fine...we are actually expecting for his academy to get postponed yet again in March. So, instead of putting all our hopes on him starting, we decided to take a vacation in April. We already got the time off and have looked at cruise's online. Woo-hoo! So even if we don't get a house and he doesn't start the academy...we will still get to do something we want to do. If not, that's fine too. I will take a house or him starting over a vacation no problem. It's a win-win! This has turned into a rediculously long post. Bye for now! Oh, and my brother Steven doesn't read my blog but I just wanted to say congrats to him for graduating from his Air Force academy this month! We are so proud of him!!

Wow! Bummer the house thing has been such a pain! I'm sure something will work out eventually and that will be such a relief! Good luck!

Hey. We are looking at the housing thing so I know how it feels to be in that situation. So, my mom is a travel agent that specializes in cruises if you want to give her a call. (714) 782-7437.

Love you Shelley! Before you know it everything will fall into place and you will start your little family. For now, feel free to practice parenting on my kids anytime! Haha! Seriously though, as much a I love life now, sometimes I look back and miss the freedom Adam and I had before kids came along. Continue to enjoy this stage of your life. It's not a bad place to be. :)
