Stupid Pigs

I consider myself a law abiding citizen. I never run red lights, I call the cops whenever I see or hear suspicious activity, if I see someone who looks drunk and driving, I call that in too. My friends often say they can hardly go a time hanging out with me that I don't act like that. So, is it too much to ask for a little in return? I was working late today (which is rare these days) and on my way home I was asked by my boss to go to turn in some checks for the company. Sure, why not? Well, there is a bunch of construction going on around my work and it has been for months so I am used to it. I am not, however, used to driving down the street I had to go on to get to the bank. So I made my way through a gap in the cones, glimpsing a no left turn sign as I turned. Ooops! Oh well. No harm done, won't make that mistake twice. Moving on! NOPE! I got pulled over! Okay, that's fine, he will run my plates and see that Michael works for OCSD. He didn't do that. He just gave me that fatty ticket and sent me on my way. WHAT THE HECK! I'm sorry?? How bout a slap on the wrist for making a mistake?? No. Not this time. Ugh! Then, on my way back I saw TWO MORE cops (motorcycle ones of course- they are the jerks that hide out) that had pulled someone over in the same spot as me. He said there were two signs but I barely had enough time to see one, and through the cones that were covering it. Ugh! Why can't my good deeds and Michaels working for the S. Department pay off just this once? I'm so frustrated!!

Shelley, I'm so sorry. I hate getting a ticket and cry EVERY time I do (not in front of the police officer though). I think I hate it because it makes me feel like a criminal, and I'm not a criminal...I'm not! Such a bummer :(

P.S. I know you're a wonderful person (even if that cop didn't realize it)
